Chris Jericho will not appear on this week’s AEW Dynamite. The former AEW Champion had been featured on both Dynamite and Collision in recent weeks following his return to television, amid speculation about a possible WWE return.
According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, Jericho is “in NYC this week filming a TV project.” The nature of the project has not been confirmed, nor whether it has any connection to professional wrestling.
This week’s Dynamite still has a deep card: Darby Allin defends the AEW Championship against Brody King; Kazuchika Okada defends the International Championship against Ace Austin; Kevin Knight defends the TNT Title against MJF; Megan Bayne and Lena Kross defend the Women’s Tag Team Championships against Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida; Roppongi Vice take on Adam Copeland and Christian Cage; and the Brawling Birds are in action.
