Former AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter has been cleared to return to action and is set to compete on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite. She will team with Alex Windsor as the Brawling Birds against opponents yet to be named.
Windsor most recently wrestled at Dynasty in April, falling short against reigning champion Thekla in a physical match. Windsor previously mentioned on AEW programming that Hayter had not been cleared, though the specific injury was not disclosed publicly. Windsor was also unsuccessful in her own title shot against Thekla.
Wednesday’s Dynamite from Fairfax, Virginia features a stacked card: Darby Allin defends the AEW World Championship against Brody King; Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) defend the Women’s Tag Team titles against Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida; Kevin Knight defends the TNT Title against MJF; Kazuchika Okada defends the International Championship against Ace Austin; Adam Copeland and Christian Cage face Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta; the Brawling Birds appear; and Rush is in action.
