Speculation about the Wyatt Sicks’ next move is already underway following their WWE release as part of the post-WrestleMania 42 cuts. According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, internal chatter in TNA points toward AEW as a potential destination, even if the outcome is unlikely.
“People I talk to in TNA seem to think that Wyatt Sicks would end up in AEW. They’re not going to AEW. I think they actually end up doing indie stuff together, TNA, MLW, and that.”
Rather than signing with one company, the belief is that the group could remain together and bounce between independent shows, TNA appearances, and possibly MLW bookings. The Wyatt Sicks were a regular fixture on WWE television from June 2024 until their storyline wrapped up shortly before WrestleMania 42.
There is also growing belief inside TNA that the Motor City Machine Guns could eventually wind up in AEW, with Sapp saying it is almost certain the duo will sign there. He also speculated that Kairi Sane will work AEW dates even if her main destination becomes Stardom.
The Wyatt Sicks, made up of Bo Dallas as Uncle Howdy, Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, and Erick Rowan, debuted in 2024 as a tribute to the late Bray Wyatt. Lumis and Gacy held the WWE Tag Team Championship for 196 days before dropping the titles to Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga earlier this year. The group will need to wait out their 90-day non-compete clauses before signing anywhere new.
