AEW Collision airs live Saturday night from the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Illinois, with a full card already announced. Kevin Knight will defend the TNT Championship against Hook of the Ops in what appears to be the main event. Knight is coming off a pinfall win over MJF on Dynamite and is scheduled to challenge Darby Allin for the AEW World Championship next Wednesday in North Charleston. Hook has most recently been seen welcoming Samoa Joe back from injury and recruiting Anthony Bowens into the Ops, with his last televised match being a tag team loss alongside Powerhouse Hobbs to Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland.
Two additional title matches are confirmed. Willow Nightingale will defend the TBS Championship against Anna Jay, who is wrestling on television for the first time since November. Jay’s last match was a tag team loss alongside Tay Conti to Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir during the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament. Jack Perry will also defend the AEW National Championship against Mascara Dorada.
In other matches, the Death Riders and The Dogs will face Top Flight and The Rascalz in a 10-man tag, while Juice Robinson and Ace Austin team up against Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta. The Conglomeration and Skye Blue are both advertised as being in action.
The full Collision lineup for May 2 includes Kevin Knight defending the TNT Title against Hook, Willow Nightingale defending the TBS Title against Anna Jay, Jack Perry defending the National Title against Mascara Dorada, the Conglomeration in trios action, the Death Riders and The Dogs vs. Top Flight and The Rascalz, the Bang Bang Gang vs. Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta, and Skye Blue in action.
