Tony Khan confirmed at Thursday’s pre-Double or Nothing media call that he is “very interested” in adding a new AEW pay-per-view in July 2026, describing it as “something that could be very lucrative and very additive.”
The show has been reported as AEW Redemption by Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast in April, with AEW trademarking the name on April 25. Fightful has reported Montreal as the planned location. Khan did not confirm the name or city on the call.
“I take a lot of pride in the quality of the AEW PPV shows and think we bat a very high average. We deliver great PPV events and I would only explore adding additional AEW PPV events to the calendar if I feel they are going to be additive. I think there are opportunities,” Khan said.
If added, Redemption would bring AEW to ten pay-per-views for the first time in company history. AEW currently has Double or Nothing in May, Forbidden Door in June, and All In in August, leaving July as the open slot.
