Vince Russo defended Triple H on his Coach and Bro podcast after AEW’s MVP publicly criticized WWE management over a lack of communication and respect, naming Triple H directly.
Russo, who has been a vocal critic of Triple H in the past, framed the issue as structural rather than personal. “It’s a tough spot to be in, especially when you’re booking a program that involves so many talents,” Russo said. “When you’re wearing 27 hats, you can’t do that. It’s that simple. If there was one person who was head of creative and that’s all they did and people could approach them about creative, you wouldn’t have that issue. That’s a structural problem in WWE.”
Jonathan Coachman agreed that the volume of responsibilities Triple H carries under TKO Group Holdings makes direct talent communication difficult.
Triple H has served as WWE’s Chief Content Officer since Vince McMahon stepped down from the company in 2022.
