Gunther explained why he brought back Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 in E Minor as his entrance theme, speaking on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast with O’Shea Jackson Jr. and T.J. Jefferson.
“I wanted that again. When I joined the main roster, I had a new song, a new entrance music and I liked it, but it felt very much WWE,” Gunther said. “I think my stronghold was always be different than everybody else and in that environment, I felt what I had before was a part of that — it made me stand out. Nobody’s really using a classical piece, and I had it for so long so I developed a good feeling for it. That’s why I wanted it back.”
Gunther switched from Symphony No. 9 to Def Rebel’s “Prepare to Fight” when he joined the main roster in April 2022. He brought the classical piece back in November 2025, debuting it in a match against Je’Von Evans in The Last Time Is Now Tournament.
