AEW has announced one match for next Wednesday’s Dynamite from Sugar Land, Texas.
Mercedes Moné faces Hazuki in the Owen Hart Women’s Tournament semifinal. The winner advances to the finals at Forbidden Door on June 28. Moné returned at the June 3 Dynamite as the wild card entry replacing the injured Willow Nightingale, defeating Alex Windsor. Hazuki advanced through the quarterfinals Saturday on Collision, beating Persephone, before being attacked by Moné. The two previously met in December 2024 when Moné defended the IWGP Women’s Championship against Hazuki at NJPW Strong Style Evolved. Moné won that match. She is chasing back-to-back Owen Hart tournament victories.
