AEW has confirmed the full teams for the 12-man steel cage match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 28 at the SAP Center in San Jose. Team MJF consists of MJF, Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Jake Doyle, and Andrade El Idolo. Team Briscoe is Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong, Orange Cassidy, Darby Allin, and Konosuke Takeshita. If Briscoe’s team wins, Briscoe earns a future AEW World Championship match.
Two additional title matches are also confirmed: Jon Moxley defends the AEW Continental Championship against Bandido, and Adam Copeland and Christian Cage defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships against The Dogs (Clark Connors and David Finlay).
Ticket sales continue to climb, with 6,735 distributed per the latest WrestleTix update, up 324 in three days.
