Mick Foley Is Missing AEW Forbidden Door Due To A Prior Commitment He Couldn’t Move

Mick Foley will not be at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 28, per Dave Meltzer. Foley has a one-man show at The Brook in Seabrook, New Hampshire that night, concluding a three-day New Hampshire tour. He tried to get the date changed and was unable to.

Foley has cleared his schedule following Forbidden Door, making him available for AEW events through September and in November and December.

The belief within AEW is that Foley has made up his mind to wrestle one more time and that the match will take place in AEW. He has not wrestled since 2012. Foley signed with AEW in May 2026 and debuted at Double or Nothing as pre-show host alongside Renee Paquette, where MJF hit him with a low blow during a confrontation.
