Arn Anderson says he will never say anything negative about Tony Khan, praising his former AEW boss as a “class act” who treated his talent better than he was required to.
Anderson spoke on the Q&A edition of his Arn Show podcast.
“Tony treated us really well. I’ll never say anything bad about Tony Khan. He’s a class act, used me the best he could in the situation. Just one of them things. Timing is everything — it was just bad timing.”
Anderson explained that his AEW role became difficult to sustain after Cody Rhodes left for WWE, since his on-screen purpose had been built around that relationship. Attempts to pair him with Wardlow did not gain traction.
He also described the general way Khan treats his roster.
“You should turn around and treat your employer with the same respect that he has treated you with. Because he doesn’t have to put you in a first-class hotel, he doesn’t have to fly you first class, he doesn’t have to provide transportation back and forth to the airport, to the hotel. I mean, Tony Khan treats his talent first class.”
Anderson departed AEW in 2024. His son Brock also spent time with the company.
