Bishop Dyer Stripped Of MLW Tag Title After Being ‘Locked Out’ Of The Company

Baron Corbin, working as Bishop Dyer in MLW, has been stripped of his half of the MLW World Tag Team Championship after being “locked out” of the company following a reported contract dispute, per MLW’s own announcement.

MLW had previously announced a dispute with Dyer on a Fusion episode, which appeared to be a storyline explanation for a potential departure. The stripping of the title is seen as a further sign that Corbin may be returning to WWE, where reports have indicated interest for some time.

Corbin departed WWE in November 2024 after a 12-year tenure. He has worked primarily for MLW as Bishop Dyer since, holding the tag titles alongside Donovan Dijak. He also worked a dark match for AEW earlier in 2026.
