On the latest episode of My World, with Karen Jarrett as his guest, Jeff Jarrett explained how Karen first came to appear on TNA television, crediting Vince Russo for spotting her on-screen potential. You can check out his comments below:
“Dixie and Vince Russo had had the conversations, and Russo would call the house and talk to Kurt on creative. When we’d leave our creative sessions, I’d let Dutch and those guys go talk creative for the upcoming TVs, because I wanted them prepared going into tapings. So Russo had a good relationship with Kurt, they had a lot of dialogue, and that’s how it got going. It wasn’t going real well, and one of the solutions Dixie came up with — I don’t know exactly how it came about — was, it’s not town to town to town, so let’s let Karen go with Kurt to Orlando for a couple of days at a time. Russo saw the charisma and said, hey, why don’t we put her on the show? And I’m just like, I don’t know about that. My first question was, how’s Kurt feel about it?”
