On the latest episode of My World, Jeff Jarrett reflected on hearing the recorded conversations between Ari Emanuel and Vince McMahon about the WWE-Endeavor merger, marveling at what they reveal and at how far the business has come. You can check out his comments below:
“You got to eavesdrop on how Ari and Vince communicate, and I think it’s very fascinating. When I first heard the first one, I just said, this is so interesting to me. It tells you quite a bit about their personalities, how they communicate. You heard the merger conversation, essentially the crux of it — $2 billion organizations. They’ll never make another Ari Emanuel, and they damn sure aren’t going to make another Vince McMahon. It’s just different. I was shocked that they had the ability to pull it off. From a historical perspective, the WWF was a regional promotion, and the next evolution was that it merged and became this billion-dollar global company. It just started as an old wrestling business up in Maine, or DC, or wherever you like to say Vince’s origins are. It’s pretty cool to me, a bit of history.”
