Hijo del Fantasma, who wrestled in WWE as Santos Escobar, has been announced for San Diego Comic-Con. He will appear Friday and Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Masked Republic and Headlocked Comic Book booth 1901.
The announcement came shortly after Fantasma announced his free agent status on social media. It is his first public appearance of the summer.
“He has held championship gold everywhere he has been, CMLL, AAA, Lucha Underground and NXT/WWE. He is a second generation lucha legacy and as successful as he has been his future is looking even brighter as he prepares to return to the ring once he has completed filming a yet to be publicly announced feature role in what is set to be a breakout performance.”
A limited edition art print of Fantasma by Doug Hills will be available to be signed at the booth, along with photo opportunities and merchandise.
Fantasma was released by WWE earlier this year following an injury suffered while working for AAA. His last WWE match was at the AAA event Rey de Reyes 2026.
