Kevin Knight Discussed For A Future AEW World Championship Match

AEW TNT Champion Kevin Knight has been discussed for a future World Championship match, according to a Fightful Select report. The report says the upcoming Redemption pay-per-view is not off the table as a spot for that match, and that Knight has been penciled in for feuds with other main event talent.

Knight turned heel and joined the Don Callis Family in June while holding the TNT Title. He has since been asking for a World Title shot on AEW television.

Kenny Omega is the current AEW World Champion, having beaten MJF for the title on the June 8, 2026 episode of Dynamite.
