Adam Copeland and Christian Cage will defend the AEW World Tag Team Titles against Claudio Castagnoli and PAC at Redemption. AEW confirmed the match in a social media post late Thursday night.
Copeland and Cage retained against Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia on Wednesday’s Dynamite. Castagnoli and The Dogs took part in a post-match beatdown of the champions afterward that also involved the Bang Bang Gang.
It will be the third defense for Copeland and Cage, who won the titles from FTR at Double or Nothing in May. Castagnoli and PAC are each looking for their first reign with the belts.
Redemption takes place Sunday, July 26 in Montreal, airing at 7e/4p on HBO Max PPV. The current lineup:
