“As it shakes down, Anthem was diving into the books in 2016, and once they kind of knew they were going to acquire the asset, that’s when Ed Nordholm and his folks, at the direction of Leonard Asper, said, start turning over rocks and let’s figure this out. Ed’s words were, every rock we’ve turned over pointed to you. I’ll never forget the breakfast conversation I had at the downtown Hilton. Boy oh boy, that single conversation was very interesting, because of all the stuff they shared, what had happened in the past, how we arrived at where we were, and where we were going in the future. So interesting.”
