On the latest episode of My World, Jeff Jarrett was asked about a dream opponent that never came together for him, and he pointed to two names, including a run with Scott Hall he never got to finish. You can check out his comments below:
On wishing he’d gotten a blowoff with Ric Flair:
“As time went on, as the podcast, I wish me and Flair could have had a blowoff. We dabbled, but it really never got there.”
On the unfinished business with Scott Hall:
“If you think about Scott Hall as far as the IC title picture, he put me on the map, put me over right in the middle in Tampa at a Royal Rumble. We go to Mania, and it’s very rare that a babyface doesn’t get his hand raised, and as the IC champion, I remain the champion there. Vince kind of made the call that the original plan was Shawn versus Razor at SummerSlam, and he wanted me and Road Dogg to go in that direction. I never got a blowoff with Scott Hall. Did I get to work with him? Yes, but Flair-Razor, and then we could weave in a couple of WCW. We never really got to have that. It wasn’t in the cards.”
