WWE announced three championship matches for next week’s SmackDown in Boston during Friday’s episode.
Baron Corbin defends the United States Championship against Carmelo Hayes in Hayes’ hometown. Hayes attacked Corbin backstage earlier in the night, after Corbin’s successful defense against Trick Williams, and challenged him for the title. WWE confirmed the match by graphic later in the show.
Tiffany Stratton defends the Women’s United States Championship against Jacy Jayne, and Damian Priest and R-Truth defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against The War Raiders and The M.F.T.s in a triple threat.
