Willow Nightingale said Mercedes Mone is losing her composure heading into All In: London, in comments after beating TBS Champion Maya World on Saturday’s Collision.
Speaking in an AEW digital exclusive, the AEW Women’s World Champion contrasted her own approach with her challenger’s.
“Wembley is just rolling in. All In’s any day now. And I’m cool, I’m calm, I’m collected. I just picked up a win over the very talented Maya World. And listen, it didn’t have to get ugly; it was a nice, friendly match. But it could have gotten ugly if that’s what it took for me to win this. And if I would let it get ugly versus a friend, imagine how far I would go to win for someone I don’t even like, let alone respect.”
“Listen, Mercedes, you’ve been my rival the moment you stepped in here, right? But I’ve always respected you. But lately, you’ve been unraveling. I can see it; I’m getting under your skin. You’re losing it, you think you can just walk into this match and crazy your way into a victory. But listen, I’ve worked for years and years to get this Women’s Championship. I know all about blood, I know all about sacrifice. I know all about giving your all to walk out a champion. So I’m going to be in Glasgow, and I sure as hell hope that you’re there too, so I can kick your a– again, just like I did this past week.”
