Jonathan Coachman said WWE taking the Women’s Intercontinental Championship off Sol Ruca points to fading confidence in her.
Ruca beat Becky Lynch for the title at Clash in Italy after moving to the main roster earlier this year, then dropped it to Raquel Rodriguez on the July 27 episode of Raw.
Speaking on Developmentally Speaking, Coachman read the change as a message.
“Sol Ruca, they take the title off of her the other night. What do you think that tells Sol Ruca behind closed doors? We don’t believe in you. You’re brand new. You’re athletic as hell. But her moves are a highwire act.”
“When you’re asking somebody, man, you’ve got to pull off a pay-per-view move every single match. That’s a problem. She has botched a few things. So, the belief in her is gone.”
