On the latest episode of My World, Jeff Jarrett previewed the AEW All In card and singled out the International Title three-way as the match with the potential to top every star rating in history. You can check out his comments below:
On the depth of the card:
“When you look at the card — yes, All In, stadium, biggest show of the year, all the marbles. But when you look at the depth, it is generation against generation in the tag, and we’ve hit on Ospreay and Omega.”
On Willow Nightingale:
“You hit the ladies. Mercedes Moné does nothing but win, and I think Willow does nothing but make people. I said this — I think Willow has a unique charisma about her, because people don’t just want to see her, they want to see her win. And that, to me, is in essence the art of a real babyface. It’s just hard to bottle that up. I think Willow has that special charisma.”
On the three-way:
“If anybody thinks Okada is the odd man out — and Fletcher, he’s broken out of the tag and he’s coming into his own with his athletic ability. He’s young and he’s like a Teflon man. He takes the craziest bumps and gets right back up. And then the athleticism of Takeshita. These three together — I certainly pity the fool who has to walk out after these three.”
On the prediction:
“On British soil, I think we have the opportunity, or the potential, to see what’s the highest-rated match of all time. I’m talking about to this audience — the people who really dig in and like to rate matches. I’m not throwing shade, because some people just like to do this, and some people it drives crazy that you rate it. But for those that really like to rate matches, I think this has the potential to be the highest-rated match of all time.”
On why the ingredients are there:
“To me it has everything. And I’m going to say Japanese matches — it feels like they are sometimes viewed with a higher star rating, and rightly so, because it’s a different style. You throw Kyle Fletcher in the mix, who has some New Japan in him. Obviously the athleticism, done on British soil in a stadium show. I think Dave might break his tradition and give this three-way — challenging you, Dave.”
On star ratings generally:
“Throw the stars completely out, because I don’t think that’s for everybody. And I’m saying that with complete respect.”
On whether he’s bringing his gear:
“Does a carpenter go to work without a hammer and nails?”
