Kevin Owens was helped to the back after appearing to suffer an injury at WWE’s house show at the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, South Carolina on Sunday night.
Owens faced The Miz in the second match of the show. He went for a superkick, and his left leg gave out from under him as he threw it, with the kick landing low before Owens dropped to the mat.
Referee Charles Robinson checked on Owens, who was holding his knee. Owens finished the match and hobbled to the back with help, which was captured on video at the venue and by Kevin Bilodeau of Live 5 News.
WWE has not issued an update on Owens’ condition.
Owens returned at the beginning of August after a long layoff, winning a four-way match to become the number one contender for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam. He had been out of action since March 2025 with a neck injury.
