Two championship matches have already been announced for the next Saturday Night’s Main Event, which takes place in Fort Wayne, Indiana on May 23. On Raw, WWE confirmed The Vision will defend the World Tag Team Championships against The Street Profits, while Penta will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Ethan Page.
The Street Profits have been a constant problem for Austin Theory and Logan Paul since returning the night after WrestleMania. The opening segment of Raw saw the two teams confront each other, with Montez Ford declaring they were coming after the titles. Joe Hendry came out to perform his “Fire Logan Paul” song before he and the Profits got the better of Bron Breakker, Paul, and Theory in the night’s main event. Seth Rollins ran in to lay out Breakker, allowing Angelo Dawkins to roll up Theory with a schoolboy for the win.
Later in the night, Penta came out and told Ethan Page to make his title shot demand to his face. Page argued he had pinned Penta last week and deserved the match. Penta offered to defend the title on the spot, but Page declined, instead challenging him to a match at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Penta accepted, saying he was ready for war.
The current Saturday Night’s Main Event card on May 23 features Penta defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Ethan Page and The Vision defending the World Tag Team Championships against The Street Profits.
