Former AEW Tag Team Champions’ Contracts Reportedly Expiring Soon

The AEW contracts for former AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party are reportedly set to expire soon, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen have been absent from AEW television for a significant amount of time.

Their last major appearance was when they lost the AEW World Tag Team Titles to The Hurt Syndicate. Since that time, the duo has not been featured in any prominent storylines on Dynamite, Rampage, or Collision.

It is currently unclear if Private Party and AEW have negotiated a new deal or if the team plans to let their contracts expire. The report did not specify an exact expiration date, only that it was approaching.

Private Party were one of the original tag teams to sign with AEW upon its inception in 2019. They were featured heavily in the early days of the promotion, participating in the tournament to crown the first-ever AEW World Tag Team Champions. Their future with the company now remains uncertain.
