Hangman Page Reflects On Swerve Strickland Helping Him Win World Title

Lee South Hangman Adam Page vs Swerve Strickland Phoenix, AZ AEW Dynamite February 7, 2024

The new AEW World Champion, “Hangman” Adam Page, commented on his long-time rival Swerve Strickland helping him win the title from Jon Moxley at All In.

“I’m going to have to think about that for a long time before I know an answer,” Page said at the post-show media scrum. “He ruined my life for so long. I did the same to him. Tonight, he chose on his own to make my life better. I don’t know if that is for me, I don’t know if it’s for this company, or I don’t know if it’s for himself. I might never really figure that out. It does feel good to be able to let go a little bit of the past and be excited about the future.”
