Ricky Saints is officially heading to the WWE main roster. WWE announced on Friday night’s SmackDown that the former NXT Champion will make his main roster debut on next week’s episode, set to take place at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Saints joins Blake Monroe and Fatal Influence as NXT acts who debuted or were teased for the blue brand on this week’s show alone.
The announcement comes just days after a Bodyslam report suggested Saints’ call-up might be delayed due to the CW Network’s desire to maintain established names on NXT following the significant wave of departures — including Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, Oba Femi, Ethan Page, and Joe Hendry. Saints made his NXT debut in February 2025 after a five-year run in AEW, winning the North American Championship in April 2025 and later capturing the NXT Championship from Oba Femi. His SmackDown debut is the first match announced for next week’s show, which airs live on USA Network and Netflix internationally.
