Bianca Belair and Montez Ford revealed on their vlog that the WrestleMania 42 pregnancy announcement was Triple H’s idea and nearly didn’t happen at all.
Belair said she texted Triple H when she found out she was pregnant, and he immediately suggested making the announcement at WrestleMania. “He was super excited and was like, ‘How are you gonna announce it? What about WrestleMania?'” she said. She was initially reluctant. “I was enjoying this bubble and was in a space where I didn’t want to announce it. I honestly just wanted to tell my family and friends and hard launch a baby.”
She eventually agreed, but the plan almost fell through. “It’s Mania season, so I didn’t get a text back for a while. I thought, ‘Maybe it’s a no.'” She had considered announcing the pregnancy on her birthday, April 9, during a planned trip to Miami with Ford. The WrestleMania appearance ended up moving everything forward by several weeks.
Ford added that keeping the pregnancy hidden once the WrestleMania plan was set posed its own challenges. “Now that this is happening, it completely changes everything. Now, we have to keep hiding her for another four weeks.”
