Roman Reigns added a new consequence to the Tribal Combat match at Clash in Italy during Monday’s Raw: if Jacob Fatu loses, he must serve Reigns as his Tribal Chief.
Reigns told Adam Pearce backstage that Fatu forced his hand by calling for Tribal Combat, but that the match needed consequences. In the main event contract signing, he told Fatu that if he lost, he would either learn to serve the Tribal Chief or Adam Pearce would get his wish and have Fatu fired.
Fatu signed the contract and called the stipulation a “win-win.” If he loses, he still keeps his job. If he wins, everyone — Reigns included — acknowledges him. The segment closed with both men shaking hands and going forehead-to-forehead.
Tribal Combat is a no-disqualification match with victory only by pinfall or submission inside the ring. Reigns has gone 2-0 in the stipulation previously, defeating Jey Uso at SummerSlam 2023 and Solo Sikoa in 2024.
