New IWGP Tag Team Champions HENARE and Great-O-Khan issued an open challenge on social media Sunday, with immediate responses from Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona of the Gates of Agony and Ricochet.
“O-Khan and I are ready for anyone who wants to step up,” HENARE wrote. GOA responded to the challenge. Ricochet then trolled HENARE, writing “He afraid of @BishopKaun and @ToaLiona” after HENARE suggested no one was stepping up. No match has been made official for Forbidden Door.
HENARE and Great-O-Khan won the IWGP Tag Team Championships at NJPW Dominion, defeating the Knock Out Brothers (YUTO-ICE and Oskar). Both have been entered into this year’s G1 Climax, which begins next month in Chicago.
