Matt Jackson says leaving TNA 15 years ago came down to blind confidence. Jackson reflected on the exit with Justin Barrasso of Undisputed.

The Young Bucks signed with TNA in 2009 and were renamed Generation Me. Matt and Nick Jackson requested their release in 2011 over creative and financial differences, following their match against Eric Young and Shark Boy at Destination X on July 10, 2011.
They returned to the company in 2013 at One Night Only, facing Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian, and appeared again at Against All Odds 2021 during the AEW and TNA partnership.
