Andrade’s absence from AEW this week was planned before his social media post about being out of action, according to Fightful Select.
The report states that Andrade is “fine,” that this week was a scheduled week off, and that he is expected back on AEW television next week.
The AEW National Champion posted on Sunday, in a since deleted message, that he had not felt well since Grand Slam Mexico, worked two MLP dates in Canada, and was told by a doctor he would be out “for a few days or weeks,” while adding it was nothing serious.
Per the report, there are no changes to Andrade’s creative plans. His program with MJF continues, and he is still expected to wrestle at All In: London, where he holds the number one spot in the men’s Casino Gauntlet match. The winner earns a future AEW World Championship opportunity.
All In: London takes place on August 30 at Wembley Stadium.
