Mick Foley said the door to one more match is not completely closed, and laid out an unprompted storyline that would put him opposite MJF in AEW.
Speaking on The Mick and Kenny Show, Foley said a return would require a lot of things falling into place, and that nothing has been discussed with Tony Khan.
He then pitched the angle anyway. In Foley’s scenario, he walks backstage at AEW alongside co-host Kenny Jordan to interview MJF, who takes offense at one of Jordan’s questions and beats him up on camera. Foley compared the setup to John Wick, saying that as the dog got Wick fighting again, Jordan would be his reason to lace up one final time.
Jordan initially said he would cry meeting MJF before reconsidering once Foley described the beating, joking that his mom would kill him.
Foley has previously named Darby Allin as his dream opponent for a final match.
