WWE is considering two additions to Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, according to a pair of reports.
False Finish reported that Blake Monroe vs. Giulia has been discussed for the show. It would be Monroe’s in-ring debut on the main roster. The two former Stardom wrestlers have been feuding since Monroe attacked Giulia on the June 26 SmackDown, and a scheduled match between them on August 21 never started after Monroe attacked her again.
TRNBCKL Gold reported that Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Tatum Paxley vs. Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab is also under consideration, with a possible announcement on this Friday’s SmackDown. Flair has been in a program with Cargill in recent months, and Paxley joined the group after moving to the main roster.
Three matches are already announced for the show:
- Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes
- Bron Breakker vs. Oba Femi
- Baron Corbin vs. Lil Yachty in a five-minute challenge
