Mercedes Mone said she broke her nose during her AEW Women’s World Championship win over Willow Nightingale at All In 2026.
Speaking at the post-show press conference, Mone said the injury happened “right at the beginning” of the match. She was left with a bloody face during the bout and required stitches afterwards, though she was well enough to attend the All In after-party.
Mone has already been announced for a championship celebration on the post-All In edition of Dynamite in Allen, Texas. It is not known whether the broken nose will keep her out of the ring.
The win made Mone the first woman to hold world titles in AEW, CMLL and WWE. She said at the press conference that she came to AEW to “make history” and “change the game.”
Nightingale went into the match with a broken hand, an injury Tony Khan confirmed before the show.
