AEW Dynamite rebounded in the ratings for its September 16 episode, airing without NFL competition for the first time in two weeks.

The show averaged 723,000 viewers on TBS, up 26.6 percent from the previous week, which went head to head with the start of the NFL season. In the 18-49 demographic, Dynamite drew a 0.16 rating, up 60 percent week over week and tying the second-highest mark the show has posted in that category in 2026. Dave Meltzer reported the show finished second for the night on cable in the 18-49 demo, behind the season premiere of South Park.

Compared to the same week in 2025, overall viewership was up 8.4 percent and the 18-49 rating was up 14.3 percent, marking the third time in four weeks the show has grown year over year in both categories. Against its recent 10-week averages of 703,900 viewers and a 0.13 demo rating, this week’s episode was up 2.7 percent in total viewers and 23.1 percent in 18-49.
