MVP Reveals Wolff-Parkinson-White Diagnosis, Urges Fans To Get Their Hearts Checked

MVP

MVP says his cardiologist found that he has Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, but that his heart is otherwise good.

MVP discussed it on Marking Out with MVP and Dwayne Swayze while talking about recent deaths in wrestling, including PAC, and friends he has lost.

“I got one, and I’m good to go. As a matter of fact, my cardiologist told me I got the Wolff-Parkinson-White thing, but that’s not fatal,” MVP said of his heart scan.

He said his cardiologist told him he would not die of a heart attack, and that anything else would be for a different doctor.

MVP urged men in their 40s, especially those who have lived a wrestler’s or bodybuilder’s lifestyle, to get their hearts checked.

“Do yourself a favor, man, for your loved ones, well, for yourself, for your kids, go get a CT scan. Get your heart checked. Make sure that you’re in good shape, because heart disease is a silent killer. You think you’re okay until you’re not.”
