Tommaso Ciampa says he is coming for Andrade El Idolo’s AEW National Championship.
Andrade retained the title against Ciampa at WrestleDream. On the October 24 episode of AEW Collision, Ciampa attacked Andrade after Andrade and Mike Bailey won a tag team match.
AEW posted a backstage video of Ciampa after the show.
“I’ll be the first to admit, I made a mistake. WrestleDream, it’s on me. I made a mistake. I took him too lightly. I thought this is a two-trick pony. I thought he’s a selfie in a pair of pants. I took him too lightly. I took him as a joke. That’s on me. It won’t happen again. Andrade, listen to me. It will not happen again,” Ciampa said.
“Now, next time we see each other, next time you put that national title on the line, I’m coming for blood. I’m coming for it all. I’m taking the national title.”
Andrade won the title from Mark Davis at AEW Redemption on July 26.
