WWE Star Who Has Interest From AEW Is Set To Become Free Agent This Weekend

A few weeks ago, it was reported that Bobby Lashley and MVP decided to leave WWE, likely heading to AEW to reunite The Hurt Business with Shelton Benjamin.

Today, Fightful Select shared that Lashley’s contract is set to expire this weekend. People they talked to last weekend believed Lashley was leaving WWE, and there were no creative plans for him moving forward.

Since the news about his contract surfaced, there have been talks about him backstage at AEW, although they haven’t made an official offer yet since he’s still under WWE’s contract.

Those close to Lashley mentioned that he’s also keen on returning to fighting and that he might at least show up in AEW. He’s also prepared to make his comeback on TV.

MVP became a free agent last week. Lashley hasn’t wrestled since May.
