Brock Rechsteiner, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner, has confirmed plans to pursue pro-wrestling once his football career wraps up. Rechsteiner signed a WWE NIL deal in June 2025 — part of the company’s program supporting college athletes — before recently signing with the Tennessee Titans following a stint with the intercollegiate Jacksonville State Gamecocks.
Speaking with Sharief Ishaq of WDSU, Rechsteiner said his father’s wrestling legacy directly inspired his interest in the business.
“It really inspired me when he got inducted into the Hall of Fame back in Dallas in 2022. That inspired me to, once I’m done playing football – I want to pursue football as long as I can, play as long as I can – but once I’m done, I’ll get into wrestling too.”
Rechsteiner also credited his cousin, current WWE star Bron Breakker, as another major influence pushing him toward the ring.
“I work out with him all the time back home. I go fishing with him a lot because he moved back to Georgia. He has really convinced me to, once I’m done playing football, to get into the wrestling business. I want to play football for as long as I can, give it the best shot I can, but once I’m done playing football, I’ll get into it, for sure.”
