Athena was on Good Karma Wrestling to promote ROH Supercard of Honor, where she’ll be defending the ROH Women’s Title against Hikaru Shida.
During the interview, the AEW/ROH star noted that she would be back on AEW television in the near future. Athena has not wrestled on an AEW show since the WrestleDream Zero Hour.
“Oh my gosh, you’re gonna have to wait and find out (when I’ll be back on AEW TV). I think it’s very likely. It’s something that Tony (Khan) and I have talked about. I won’t go into detail but it is something that is happening. It’s something that we’ve been talking about for almost eight months now, just waiting for the right time, the right moment. But that moment’s coming very soon. That’s all I can say about that.”
