The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes, in partnership with Global Force Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Entertainment and media partner Neuhoff Media, are ecstatic to announce Capital City Clash, a professional wrestling event, coming to Robin Roberts Stadium on Saturday, September 21st!
WWE Hall of Famer, AEW Superstar, and Lucky Horseshoes Co-Owner Jeff Jarrett played an instrumental part in bringing this exciting event to Illinois’ Capital City. The star-studded night will include wrestling talent from around the world, local Springfield celebrities and luminaries, and several spectacular surprises are already lined up for this base-brawl that will be a night of entertainment for all ages!
“Since the day we launched the Lucky Horseshoes, this has been a dream of mine to set up a wrestling ring on home plate at Robin Roberts Stadium with ringside seating on the field,” said Jarrett. “We’re excited for this first annual Capital City Clash event and I already have someone local in mind that will be on the receiving end of my home run guitar smash!”
Gates will open at 5 PM for a special VIP Meet and Greet that will allow fans to meet all of the talent in attendance as well as take photos and get autographs. Gates for ticket-holders will open at 6 PM with a 7 PM show time. Ringside seats will be made available on the field with General Admission also available in the seating bowl of Robin Roberts Stadium. Parties of 10 or more are eligible to receive discounted group ticket pricing.
