Jon Moxley Will Defend IWGP World Heavyweight Title At NJPW Resurgence

Jon Moxley successfully defended his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Ren Narita at the closing of NJPW’s Wrestling Dontaku tour on May 4th.

Despite interference from HOUSE OF TORTURE, El Desperado and Shota Umino came to Moxley’s rescue.

Following this victory, Moxley’s next title defense has been scheduled. He is set to defend his title against Shota Umino at NJPW Resurgence on May 11th in Ontario, California. Here’s the card:

IWGP World Heavyweight Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Shota Umino
NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship — No Rope Last Man Standing Match: Eddie Kingston (c) vs. Gabe Kidd
NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Alex Windsor
