Eddie Kingston Injury Update

Following his loss to Gabe Kidd in a No Rope Last Man Standing match at NJPW Resurgence, Eddie Kingston found himself in a confrontation with Jack Perry, which quickly escalated when The Young Bucks launched a surprise attack. The AEW EVPs utilized the EVP trigger to take down Kingston.

On the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, it was announced that Darby Allin will step in to replace Kingston and join forces with Bryan Danielson and FTR to take on The Elite in an Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing 2024 later this month.

In the most recent issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer provided the following update:

“With Kingston suffering what was being talked about on Dynamite backstage as a broken leg although that was not confirmed it was the exact injury, obviously that changed things.”
