Steven Borden, the son of Sting, is about to embark on a journey in the wrestling business.
Sting’s sons Garrett and Steven were involved in the retirement match of the iconic wrestler at AEW Revolution this past March. They got to participate in Sting’s entrance by dressing up as past versions of Sting, Steven being the Wolpac version and Garrett being Surfer Sting.
They also got involved in the action as they hit Stinger splashes. Sting and Darby Allin retired as the AEW Tag Team Champions in a win over The Young Bucks at the show.
While speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Allin said that Steven was training to be a wrestler and has been staying at his house. He said that after Revolution, it made Steven think about becoming a wrestler, and it urged him to start training. He spoke with Sting about it and invited Steven to come train with him. Allin has a ring at his house to help with this process.
Although Steven has said in the past that he didn’t think about following his father’s footsteps into wrestling, things have changed. The full interview will be released this Thursday.
