The Owen Hart Foundation tournament organized by AEW is set to make a comeback this year. According to the Calgary Herald, the tournament finals are scheduled to take place on July 10 in Calgary.
Past winners of the men’s and women’s tournaments include Britt Baker, Adam Cole, Willow Nightingale, and Ricky Starks. Martha Hart shared her confidence in AEW’s ability to showcase, promote, and pay tribute to Owen’s wrestling legacy.
She further stated, “We are collaborating to ensure that his legacy lives on.”
Chris Jericho commented, “In partnership with Martha, we have strived to portray him in a positive and respectful manner, recognizing his significant contributions. This is a wonderful way to honor Owen’s memory and support the foundation, which has always been Martha’s priority.
