Tony Khan Says Re-signing Bryan Danielson Is A ‘Top Priority’

AEW President Tony Khan told CBS Sports that it’s a “top priority” for him to re-sign Bryan Danielson.

The renowned superstar recently disclosed that his AEW agreement is set to conclude prior to All In at Wembley Stadium in the UK this August.

Danielson has already affirmed that his active days in the wrestling ring will soon come to an end this year. However, he intends to continue participating in specific matches even after he transitions into a part-time role.

“I would like Bryan to stay, in a perfect world, forever here in whatever capacity he’d stay with us in. I’d hope that Bryan would finish his wrestling career here. I would do anything to make that happen,” Khan said.

“I don’t know whether he’ll be wrestling full-time after that, but I really hope Bryan will stay with me here in the office forever. I talk to Bryan pretty much every day whenever I can, so I hope that will continue for the rest of our lives.”
