Mark Henry Confirms AEW Departure In Statement

Mark Henry, WWE Hall of Famer, revealed on Monday that he will be departing from AEW once his contract with the company comes to an end this week.

During an appearance on Busted Open Radio, Henry mentioned that his departure was a mutual decision. He expressed his gratitude towards AEW and The Khan family for the opportunity and experience during his time with the company.

In 2021, Henry joined AEW and took on the role of an analyst for AEW Rampage, which premiered on TNT that same year. Along with his on-screen duties, he also worked behind the scenes as a producer, scout, and mentor, often being referred to as a “psychology coach.”
