Tony Khan On Athena: “She Is Going To Be 100 Percent Very Soon”

AEW

Athena seemed to sustain a leg injury during her match with Viva Van in a ROH television match on May 16. She was unable to put any weight on it and required assistance to exit the ring.

During the post-AEW Double or Nothing media scrum, Tony Khan provided an update on Athena’s condition.

“Athena might be the best wrestler in the world and is the Ring of Honor Women’s World Champion. And she is a little beat up herself right now,” Khan said. “But she is going to be 100 percent very soon as we are bringing ROH and AEW to Texas — her home state and actually Dallas, her home city.”
